WHAT IS MY WHY?
Life leading up to be a personal trainer
Sports were a large part of my developmental years. I found a love for basketball and soccer during my time at highschool! With that came many injuries because we were not taught to strength train, and we were discouraged to rest. That also brought upon body image and eating disorder issues with long training hours during teenage developmental and hormonal years.
My own personal growth, injury rehab, strength training, and interest in the human body led me to a degree in kinesiology. After which I found my way to Vancouver and began strength training people of all ages, athletic endeavours and injury backgrounds.
I am passionate about showing people their strength! We all have the power to push our limits, surprise ourselves, and should be really proud of what we accomplish!

Safe strength that is guided at your pace, meeting you where you're at to feel your best for birth and after. Whether you're prepping for birth or recovering, my goal is for you to be strong for yourself and your little one!
STRENGTH TRAINING
1-3:1 Personal Training
OUTDOORS or VIRTUAL
From the comfort of your own (or a friends) home or gym. We'll move functionally through safe ranges of motion and strength movements to help you excel in activities you love!

I started training with Megan in July 2022 with the goal of building strength and improving mobility following a back injury. When I became pregnant in the fall of 2022, I had concerns about how my back would fare during pregnancy and postpartum. I trained weekly with Megan throughout my pregnancy up until 2 weeks before the birth of my son in July 2023, and I can say without a doubt that our training sessions set me up for both a healthy pregnancy and a quick and easy recover from my cesarean section, free or any setbacks with my back injury. Megan has a fantastic understanding of the changes that occur in women’s bodies during the prenatal period and how to adapt exercise to keep movement patterns safe.
